As of the second half of August, the harvest has been conducted on an area of 6,185.1 thousand hectares, with a yield of 44.1 quintals per hectare, resulting in 27,259 thousand tons of early grain crops being threshed, including:
- Wheat has been threshed on 4,384 thousand hectares (yield – 47.5 quintals per hectare), resulting in 20,818 thousand tons being threshed.
- Barley has been threshed on 1,398 thousand hectares (yield – 39.8 quintals per hectare), resulting in 5,567 thousand tons being threshed.
- Peas have been threshed on 152.2 thousand hectares (yield – 24.9 quintals per hectare), resulting in 379.1 thousand tons being threshed.
- Millet has been threshed on 2.32 thousand hectares (yield – 12.1 quintals per hectare), resulting in 2.81 thousand tons being threshed.
- Buckwheat has been threshed on 0.08 thousand hectares (yield – 11.3 quintals per hectare), resulting in 0.1 thousand tons being threshed.
- Other grains and leguminous crops have been threshed on 249 thousand hectares, resulting in 492.1 thousand tons being threshed.
The leaders in grain harvesting are agricultural producers in Zaporizhia, who have threshed on 96% of the area, with the largest harvest remaining in Odessa at 3.2 million tons.
In Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Ternopil, and Odessa regions, the harvesting of millet has begun.
13 regions have completed the harvesting of rapeseed. Currently, it has been threshed on an area of 1,370.7 thousand hectares, resulting in 3,944.1 thousand tons of seeds being threshed with a yield of 28.8 quintals per hectare.
The harvesting of early grain crops has been fully completed by farmers in the regions of Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Odessa.
